Sun,Fun, California
Makenzie and I headed to California for a few days to visit my cousins. We had a great mommy and daughter time (missed daddy and Logan) doing a ton of stuff and enjoying the nice cool weather.
We stayed on the beach in Santa Monica. Just a short walk to Venice, where we got a taste of the "locals" it was a entertaining freak show, I LOVED IT!
Since its my 10th wedding anniversary in August I thought I would step outside my box and get a "Jon" tattoo. It is something small and in a place on my hip really nobody can see. I have a tattoo around my ankle that I hate, my Mom let me do when I was 16 (thanks a bunch Mommy). I would get it removed if it would not leave a mark. I do wear jeans a lot so you cant see it often.
We rode the carousel, shopped, walked the boardwalk, hair beading, enjoyed the nightlife, laid out on the beach until it was too cold, collected seashells(Makenzies favorite as she has them from around the world she has picked up). It was a nice get away...and a little fun rolled up in one 3 day trip.
