If through a broken heart God can bring His purposes to pass in the world, then thank Him for breaking your heart.

Shawna emailed me a collection of wonderful Ethiopia pictures, here are a few that grabbed my attention!
Yippy we got our papers back from USCIS, which was our I600-A sent to homeland security, in return they send back a I- 171H. I got all the paperwork together (about 60 or more sheets of paper, all notarized) and went down to the secretary of state to get them officially sealed. I got them all sealed except they would not do 2 of them because the notary signed wrong, and Jon's birth certificate needed to be sent to California to get State Authenticated.Monday I tracked down the 2 notaries, got those documents fixed, than overnight California Jon's birth certificate, they said would take 2 weeks, BUT I got it back yesterday, and after going back down to the Secretary of State again, I got them all state sealed authenticated, got my whole Dossier DONE, and it went over night to Oregon yesterday. WE are all so excited.
Next step is it goes to DC, gets hand carried, wait for approval, than back to Oregon and headed to Ethiopia where it will be approved and a picture of our daughter sent to us. Time frame depends on the courts there, the season, and just the country. Of course I will keep everyone posted!
This summer is going to be jammed back with trips, waiting for approvals and court dates, and hopefully a baby daughter before Christmas. We will see what God has in store for us.
