“Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans”
John Lennon quotes
Plus waiting on a referral for a son, yes another from Ethiopia, which has been a lot of work as our agency has had us start from the begining all over again and submit a whole new dossier even though our first one says we can have 2, and in Sept we asked for 2, he did not get the message to the right people, so of course we pay the price of that mistake and the COST, and have to pay the full price and start all over again, its been a huge cluster mess. Which is stressful and just plain a pain in the butt.
The kids are great, enjoying school, Makenzie of course tested higher at her new school, as she did at the last and is so bored at school. I am about to home school her for the rest of the year, even though I am SO NOT INTO THE IDEA, and then stick her back into private once she is in 1st grade. Logan loves preschool 2 times a week, and meeting new friends.
I have just been dealing with all of this and life in a nutshell. My friend Jen is moving into our rental house down the road, so I have been helping her start up her business from home, she is going to be doing a hair salon, which she rocks at hair and is a very high level, and can do so much and amazing work, you should see the color and cuts, its perfection! So we have been getting a salon started in the house, and getting the dryer, chairs washbowl sinks etc all together, its actually fun to have a project. So anyone in AZ need a great stylist, FYI me and you got someone awesome that can do ANYTHING and at a good price and I mean GOOD, at cost pretty much! Now she can stay at home, single mother of 3, and work.
It has been weird to go to my old house that we still own, and see it, its just doesn't feel the same, Makenzie went yesterday and kinda walked around and then walked to her old room and said hummm I think this was my room, I said YES, and she laughed and said YES and that was Logan's and just ran around the house. it was too cute. Life was so different in that house. It was our first house moving from Italy and our first house we bought since we were getting out of the army and when in the army we moved every 2 yrs so we never bought a house, we just moved and moved house to house. The house has some sentimental values, I brought Logan home from the hospital, he was conceived there, hee hee, Jon came home from Afghanistan there, the list can go on, people always say to sell it, but there is something still holding me to it, just this little something. Its nice to be able to let Jen live there and her to start her business and family there.
