This weekend turned out to be Makenzie's on going birthday. Which was fun and she of course soaked it up. First we started the morning with her being able to pick what she wanted to wear head to target and she got to load the cart with what she wanted for her birthday, she knew what she wanted from a easy bake oven to puzzles, to water toys, clothes, you name it. Logan of course got a skate board so he felt included and I have to post the pics with a little smiley face over the peter because he has been skating naked but with knee arm and head gear and its too cute. Its like something out of a movie.
Then after we shopped, she changed into one of her new outfits, and we went goofy golfing. We thought if we headed there early we would not get the ganster crowded, well we got a little taste of it, but the kids had fun, Logan and some of the other kids were to short for the water rides and car stuff, so we ate inside. What mattered is Kenzies had fun. I loved to hit the ball everywhere and the wind made the weather nice.I was of course being goof ball so I was hyper, but hey got to have fun.
Hard to imagine that 6 yrs ago I was in a Italian hospital not knowing what they were saying 36 hrs of labor, then a C section, 2 days later Jon left for war in Iraq for a year and Makenzie and I were in Italy toughing it out. We have a bond like no other.

Happy Birthday Makenzie Italia (I love your name). Sounds like you had a blast.
I remember the Italy days and toughing it out! It feels like a century ago. Gosh how time flys! I have to say I do miss our little friendship click we all had. It helped us survive it :) Kenzie is so big now and would never remember me, but I remember her clear as day.... She was so cute, I have a pic of her bathing with all my kids in the big italian bath tub! She was so little!!!
Love, Mary
XOXO
