800 pairs of shoes for the homeless
At my bible study on Wednesday we were asked to come up with a way we can help people. My sister and I thought a "flip flop" drive would be a great way to shoe the homeless and help!
We had a cute decorated jar that people put in their donations, plus gave shoes as well. We gave everyone 3 weeks. We collected enough money to buy 800 pairs of flip flops, plus had a ton of donated shoes. This is just from our maybe 30 woman bible study! Amazing how a idea turns into a wonderful thing!
