I am getting so many different wishy washy emails from the adoption agency. For all you that don't know yet, because yes you will think I am crazy, Jon and I thought we would adopt a son also while we were going over and get Aslynn already. We had the form already with (2) children, and we were told that there were "a lot of boys available immediately" and a high chance we could get a referral and court date for the kids to come home at the same time. Today I got a email saying 3-4 months for a referral, than we all know the time frame from there for the court, then the flying, etc etc. SO IS THIS TO BE OR NOT TO BE? I was trying to 1. even out the family 2. save another life 3. a playmate for Logan would be so awesome 4. hey another kid, why not, knock 2 out while doing the 1 and the trip there while we were at it!
Now its not falling into place, and it could just be a sign to roll with our daughter and leave it at that. Just my rambling thought for the moment as I am suppose to be getting ready for...don't laugh, Neil Diamond concert! :) My family are huge fans so we are all piling into our suite at the arena and listening to some HITS! YOU ALL KNOW THEM! Sing a few in your head...America (Aslynn's song), Sweet Caroline, Forever In Blue Jeans (I love jeans, I wear them all year long!)
I will of course take pictures, and I will capture me and my grandpa together HA HA! Classic.. but he is a super star stud.

How do you know Neil Diamond? You are to young. I am 3 years older than you and I don't even know his songs - I guess it was passed down by your family :). That is great you can get all the generations together.
Not sure about the son issue. I wonder if at this point it might make sense to wait until you bring her home and see how it goes since you have to travel twice anyways. I am sure it is so confusing. I'll be praying for you to know and have peace through HIm during the wait.
I love Neil Diamond. I can probably sing all his songs by heart. Yeah, I'm aging myself. One of my favorites is Cracklin' Rosie! And another - pack up the babies and grab the old ladies . . . okay, enough reminiscing. About your boy, I think Radu has a macro set on his computer and whenever he gets a question about "when" he just pushes a button and you get a response "no sooner than 3-4 months." I've been waiting for a referral for nearly a month, so technically my response should say 2-3 months now, but it doesn't. Hang in there my friend, listen to your heart and you'll know what to do.
OK, I'll admit it, I've been to a Neil Diamond concert. AND, I enjoyed it! :) I can't recite any of his songs, but I could sing along to most of them if I hear them. Sweet Caroline is definitely my fav.
I agree with Mona about Radu's Macro...too funny. You do have a tough decision to make. I honestly don't know what I would do in your situation. I will pray for you and your family that you will be guided to make the right decision.
