Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.Ephesians 1:4
God has pointed Jon and I into a direction we never thought our road would lead us, adoption. This journey has been a long, stressful, waiting game, but SO WORTH IT, as we know in our hearts that Aslynn is OUR DAUGHTER and this is what GOD desires from us. We open our hearts, our home, our family and religion to our new addition and we look forward to flying in December to bring her home. Thank you all for your support, love and friendship through our "journey to bring Aslynn home" it has been a bumpy road, but ONE that I HAD to go through to LEARN so many little life lessons and things that words couldn't describe. I can now post and share pictures of our daughter as the final court date just past, here is Aslynn Amira. I cant wait to get her home, give her a nice bubble bath, put her into some soft snugly clothes, of course put a BOW in her hair, and give her love, sing her songs and tell her how much we love her and have been waiting for her!

OK, I look at that picture and I just can't wait to hold your little girl!!!!!! She is sooooooo adorable. Oh my gosh. Seriously....can't wait to give her a big hug and see her and Sabah together.
Oh, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the middle name you picked for her. That works perfect with Aslynn and keeps an Ethiopian name too! PERFECT!!!

Leah- I do not even have the words..... Congrats is not even enough. She is so gorgeous!!! Oh my goodness what a blessing! What a lucky baby girl to have such a love- filled home and family. Yay! What a relief to finally get to this point. Now it seems so real - doesn't it. I wish we were traveling together. I will give her some hugs and tell her that her mommy and daddy will be there soon. And yes - she is so stinkin cute!
